pinto ichi is Japanese for point of focus.
It represents the moment when the eye aligns with the subject, capturing the sublime. My creative practice with images can best be described by this phrase, which becomes a focal point for stories that are told through different ways of seeing.

Over the years, this has led to a number of creative outcomes, including books,
exhibitions and durational writing performances that respond to images.
